- Our Application Process
We aim to give every potential Spendless Team Member the opportunity to decide if Spendless is the right fit for them. Our application process is quite rigorous, and we fully understand that we may not be right for everyone.
THE FIRST STEP
First, we ask you to complete a cultural fit survey. This is the key factor in a candidate progressing through the next stage. We want to make sure that our values are aligned, so there is every chance that we think alike, will work well together, and have fun together!
We think this step is extremely important, as we strive to make Spendless a place you will want to come every day.
Remember— we hire the attitude and train the skills!
THE SECOND STEP
The next stage is a check that you are willing and able to perform the tasks and duties required for the role. We do this by asking a series of yes/no questions appropriate to the job you have applied for to.
THE THIRD STEP
We ask you to detail any relevant experience you may have relating to the job you are applying for. At this point, we may ask you to attach a resume. However, we do not ask for resumes for all jobs, as some just require the right attitude! You may also be given the opportunity to leave a video for us. The video is not compulsory, so if you choose not to upload a video it will not negatively affect your application. However, it is a fun way for you to show us your personality!

Once you have completed your application in full, you will receive a confirmation email that we have received your application. You will also be given details about the next steps of your individual application process.
WHERE TO FROM HERE
We commit to keeping you informed of your application at every stage, and to keep in touch with you regularly regarding the status of your application. We like to take the time to get to know you, so the recruitment process could take as many as 2 or 3 face-to-face meetings with different team members, as well as further reference checks. This process will usually take 2-4 weeks.
